Mike, great shot to catch a mother navigating the waters while carrying a chick on her back. Mother nature at its best. Both birds are sharp with very good detail in the feathers. The black and white markings are really pronounced, and I am drawn from the start to the red eyes of both birds. Water transparency is nice. My personal taste would be to create a mask on the water and reduce texture and clarity just a bit to soften the water, creating a little more separation from the water and bird.
