A beautiful image, which has caught this attractive bird in full detail. Good inobtrusive background. Tells me all i need to know about this colourful bird!   Posted: 10/09/2025 15:42:15

Rainbow lorikeets are one of my favorite Aussie birds. Can't get any more colorful than these guys. Your selection tool is tricky with feathers. In order to tone down and blur the background, you muddied up the edges a bit. Very difficult to do perfectly. Perhaps a less tight crop would have been better? It seems to be straining the edges. In my opinion of course, it's your photo.   Posted: 10/09/2025 22:15:30
thank you Leslie. I will try to fix the edges on the bird as you mentioned and perhaps it is cropped too tight.   Posted: 10/25/2025 13:12:51

Marilyn,
I love this photo. You were able to get in close to fill the frame and capture the essence of this beautiful bird. We sometimes forget the the zoo offers many shooting opportunities. Great tack sharp shot.   Posted: 10/10/2025 22:56:17

Marilyn, gorgeous tight crop, sharp as a tack image. Feathers, head and eye are amazing. Super background. Wouldn't change a thing.   Posted: 10/11/2025 13:42:46
Thank you Tom. Was glad to capture this beautiful bird.   Posted: 10/25/2025 13:15:40
Great shot Marilyn. The bird on its perch is very sharp across the image, and the colors are just stunning. I can get lost just by navigating through its colorful feathers. It's a great pose of this bird on its perch against a very soft background. I like this tight crop as well. Really a very nice image.   Posted: 10/13/2025 23:20:58
