This was a challenge for my photo club - what can we do with a soda can.
I found a photo of a flower petal to use as my template. I tried both transform and and liquify to mold the can into a petal. In the end I used the erase feature to make a Dr. Pepper petal and the copied it to make all the other petals. I did make a few a tad larger then the rest, then went in and changed the blending mode on a few to try to give the flower a bit of depth.

Very artistic and well done. I like the way you have made a couple of the petals translucent which helps the depth. The tab in the centre looks like an angry man!!

Congratulations on your innovative and well executed "DP Dahlia", including the moth. The only distraction I see is the see-through petals. I am sure that with your skills, you can overcome that. Well done!!! I'll be keeping an eye for more of your futuristic innovations. Posted: 10/13/2025 15:29:40
