This was taken in a woodland in February with Canon R7, 100 to 500 lens,1/1000, f4.5, ISO3200…..tracking in hope of getting a close and clear reflection which didn’t happen.

Great sharp shot of the squirrel. I think the reflection would have to be closer to the animal to make a really good refection image (there is too much foliage between the animal & the water). The cropped image is pin sharp & makes good use of the depth of field.   Posted: 10/13/2025 20:03:57
You didn't get the reflection you were seeking, but you did get a close and clear image of a very cute wild animal. The face is as sharp as can be, enhanced by the catchlight in the eye.
I suggest you darken the greenery above the curve in the tail. I find the light green distracting.   Posted: 10/18/2025 10:32:04

Beautiful shot. The image is sharp, well composed and colorful. You could get the catchlight very well. The light green foliage near the tail is a mild distraction. Your post processing is very nice. Well done.   Posted: 10/21/2025 13:55:37
