About the Image(s)
I took this photo of 2 Galapagos Penguins in Isabela Island in the Galapagos. I took it handheld while on a Zodiac which is always a bit challenging. I like the image because it shows one of the penguins in the process of molting and it looks like they are talking to each other. While molting the penguins cannot get into the water as they are not yet waterproof and do not have insulation. Also you can see the distinct characteristics of this species endemic to Galapagos: the head pattern with a narrow white stripe that curves from behind the eyes down towards the throat; a single dark band that runs across the breast area; and bare, pinkish patches of skin around the base of their bills and around their eyes which help them release body heating the warm tropical environment.

Cropped a bit to show their details closer and adjusted exposure in Lightroom classic.
