The Story:
This was a rare find. And, no - not in the wild. (THAT would truly have been a rare find!)

This is Finnley, a lovely little male Red Fox that lives in our local (Richmond, VA) reserve/mini animal rehab facility - Maymont Park. Finnley came to Maymont in 2018 after being found as an orphaned, sickly kit. He became habituated to his caregivers, so could not be released into the wild. So, he lives a cushy life in a nice habitat and is a fan favorite of families with small children (and photographers!) who visit
for a (safe) glimpse of local wildlife.
