About the Image(s)
Recent outing with friends to Mt Tomah, a botanical gardens in our mountain area about two hours from home. While I have had many trips here, this one was a Spring visit, my aim was to try something different to my normal approach to flower photography. My aim to concentrate on selective lighting with a flash, attempting to isolate subjects in the image . Some good results and some not so good, but again good fun to play.
This image, a King Protea just before blooming. Flash from the side and slightly higher about 45 degrees
Shooting at 1/8000 F7.1 Iso 1250 using 24 -7 lens
Hope you enjoy and thank you for the comments .
