About the Image(s)
The "Floral Up Close - Water Lily DDG 14," was captured in June 2026 from ASTRAS Farm house, during one of my helicopter visits to the location. It was early morning, and while I was looking for a photo opportunity, the water lilies caught my eye. The rest you can see as attached.
I took this shot with my Samsung S23 mobile camera. With an ISO of 50 and no flash. A simple crop and light adjustment were done using the Windows photo editor and there it is for your feedback.
I hope you enjoy the image and any feedback is welcome.

Hi Kamal,
Nice capture - the flowers look great. As a small suggestion, you might try adding a stronger vignette to help draw the eye toward the center of the flowers and reduce the distraction from the leaf in the upper right.
Well seen Thanks for sharing.   Posted: 07/14/2026 06:39:24

hi Kamal. This is a lovely waterlily and I like the graphic treatment you have created. Unfortunately, the leaf on the upper right corner competes for attention and detracts from the beautiful subtle color and shape of the waterlily. I hope you don't mind, but I tried to eliminate it by using the skew tool in PS and then the clone tool to add some of the green in the corner. What do you think?   Posted: 07/14/2026 19:17:47
Hi Kamal - Water Lily's are such gorgeous flowers in all their varieties. This lily is tack sharp, there is lovely texture throughout and you've done well with the colors of the lily. I like the green vegetation in the background although I think that it competes some with the main subject as does the upper right leaf as mentioned above. Perhaps recessing the background slightly would soften it some so the focus is all on the composition of that beautiful flower. I can see why the the Water Lilies attracted your attention. Good eye; nice capture.   Posted: 07/18/2026 00:48:54
