About the Image(s)
We just arrived back from Italy and the Dolomites. This was the view from our room on the Alpe di Suisi (largest meadow in Europe which is a Unesco site) in the Dolomites. Was a stormy day (remnants of Hurricane Erin apparently) and the sky and clouds were very atmospheric. No cars allowed between 10am ??“ 5pm so great for hiking and biking and enjoying the wonderful scenery. The next day it snowed also adding drama to the photographs! Shot with my Canon R5 and 24-105 lens 1/640 F7.1 ISO400. Moved the sliders in LR and removed the chair lift cable that was in the middle of the photo…

Lovely scene and sky, I like the way you composed the photo. The sky grabs my attention first, then the road leads me across the rest of the photo. The photo feels like it has a lot of energy, even though it's a peaceful scene. Nicely done.   Posted: 10/15/2025 01:16:31
This sky is eye-catching in the way it is almost completely covered with a wide variety of clouds. The angles and diagonals and curves within the whole composition make for a fascinating view of this scene. I have seen such interesting photos of the Dolomites over the years. I bet you have a lot of their photos we'd love to see.   Posted: 10/15/2025 22:33:51
Big sky country! It is as if you are high above the mountains. The winding road and the cabin add interest to this wonderful assortment of clouds . Very nice.   Posted: 10/26/2025 01:52:11
