About the Image(s)

I’m submitting a shot I took earlier this month at a home in my neighborhood that suffered a fire recently and is in the process of being repaired. The home is a construction site as the family rebuilds. What struck me was the sense of humor that survived and the whimsical approach taken by people who have experienced loss.

Granted ??” this isn’t a great piece of photography (I did crop, enhance, remove the company name from the port-a-potty, and did some minor clean-up) but it’s an approach to street photography!

I thought knowing the back story about the fire was important.
