About the Image(s)
My camera club's special theme for November is "Literally Black and White". These are images that contain only pure black, and pure white, no (or extremely few) shades of grey. So, I've been going through old images, experimenting with converting them to pure B&W, to discover what works and what doesn't. This is one of ones I thought worked. I'm curious how it reads to you all.
Capture: Canon 6D + EF 400mm F/5.6L, 1/500 sec at F/6.3, ISO 5000
Processing: I used two different Threshold Adjustment layers in Photoshop, one primarily for the bird, and another primarily for the rest, then blended them.
