This is an interesting concept focusing on two trees that have been partially damaged against a beautiful mountain scene. A few technical suggestions that may or may not be helpful since I wasn't there-It appears that light is hitting the lens of the camera creating haze. Perhaps shooting at a different angle would improve the contrast. Something about the cut-off trees makes me feel uneasy. The message is possibly damaged trees in beautiful surroundings. Images like this have to be taken though and thanks for that.   Posted: 07/19/2026 18:35:58

We don't often talk about titles here, but this is a case where I think the title does a lot to establish the story. The scenic background also works to emphasize the brutal pruning. The haze Sue mentioned adds a misty mood, which I enjoy, but since it doesn't extend across the whole image, that mood feels amputated, much like the trees. The buildings on the hillside to the right seem unaffected, and that works for me to make the story about "nature interrupted" by human intervention.   Posted: 07/20/2026 03:35:13
