Natalia, thank you for sharing such a great event and sharing the history behind it. You might want to consider saturate some of the colors of the buildings and the sky. Possibly remove all the wires but it is part of the city.   Posted: 10/02/2025 03:35:41
Sophia, thanks a lot!   Posted: 10/13/2025 13:32:19
Natalia, this city has wonderful historic architecture; however, your photo story is about the marathon. Therefore, I cropped out the cars and much of the building on the right side. I used Luminar NEO to remove many of the wires, but some remnants could be removed a few at a time using PS remove tool. Last, I used Topaz Photo AI to enhance and sharpen the image.   Posted: 10/07/2025 21:35:03
Richard, thanks for the idea and for your opinion!
This photo is not only about the marathon, but also about the ordinary life of the city. And that sometimes it all happens on the same road: someone runs to the finish line, and someone just goes to work in the morning. That's why I didn't remove cars or passersby...   Posted: 10/13/2025 13:42:07

Natalia, I enjoyed hearing about the marathon. Fascinating. It's wonderful to share our cultures. I'm learning a great deal from your posts.
I like Richard's rendition of your image. As he said, the photograph is about the runners. The cars are only a distraction. It would have been interesting to capture the runners from the front, so that their faces (and expressions) would be part of the story.

Oliver, hi!
You're probably right! I needed to take more photos, from different views...   Posted: 10/13/2025 13:45:46

Natalia, Thanks for sharing the story of the event. Thats very interesting. I think you needed to be a little more brave and take the runners approaching you and maybe the best runners who are presumably leading the way. I get the feeling that this group are the tail enders and I noticed their feet are hardly off the ground.   Posted: 10/13/2025 03:57:00
Mark, hi!
Thanks for your opinion!
This group aren't the tail enders.
This is about the middle of the entire group of runners. But they had run almost 18 miles by this point and were already really tired..   Posted: 10/13/2025 13:51:31

Hi Natalia. It looks like you actually got right in behind them so well done. You didn't try to take it from off to the side which would have been tempting in this situation! This has given us the viewpoint of looking straight down the road which I think is very effective. It would have been interesting to see what a front on view would have looked like. I do think that cropping off the top and right-hand side brings us closer to the action. I think we would then still see enough of the environmental context.   Posted: 10/21/2025 04:22:50
