About the Image(s)

For this month I went back to something I did last November. Preparations for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade start a few days before the actual parade. The day before, all the balloons are inflated on the streets surrounding the American Museum of Natural History. The activities are open to the public, and free, and last year it is estimated that 1 million people attended Inflation Day. (By comparison it is estimated that 3.5 million people actually saw the parade live from where it starts to where it finishes.) I had no idea I was among that many people but it did take a really long time to go through the many snaking lines to get to the balloons. But then I got to see the balloons up close. The balloons are inflated and kept down with nets and weights. I liked this photo because of the notion of Spiderman being held in a net.

I took this with my Canon 90D 24-105mm lens, f/4.0, 1/125 sec, ISO 320 24mm focal length. I did a few minor adjustments to contrast, exposure, highlights and backs in Lightroom. In Photoshop I removed some of the distractions along the bottom and top right. I look forward to your comments.
