About the Image(s)
Kitten leaps at old cat on other side of the door. Older cat totally ignores kitten.
Cropped, straightened image. Sharpened older cat’s face and lighted so that you could see keys. Because this caused a lot of noise, I used the clone tool to remove white bits caused by the sharpening. Same kitten as last time up to new antics.

Joan, well done on the cropping and straightening. It really makes the cats the center of attention. Catching the kitten in mid-jump was nice. A little nit pick, but I think your sharpening of the older cat's eyes left a bit of blue that doesn't seem to fit in. I imagine it was difficult to brighten the eyes as they were behind glass. Nice shot.   Posted: 10/11/2025 15:25:31
Joan, I enjoyed your action shot of your playful kitten and watchful cat. You did a nice job of cropping the bottom to keep the bottom of the door frame, but keeping my focus on the cats. The blur of the kitten lets me understand his playful movement. I found with your sharpening of the older cat's face, the pixelation became more pronounced and to me became distracting. To me, the original showed some spots in that area that are difficult to remove. Your photos shows the distinct difference in personalities between your cats. How fun!   Posted: 10/16/2025 14:42:52
Joan, what a delightfully playful image. I read what Andres and Ruth mentioned so I wanted to let you know there is a tool in camera raw that takes care of reflections. I am wondering if that would solve the issue of the cat's face behind the glass door.   Posted: 10/19/2025 22:40:06
Hi Joan,
It's a candid photo that captures a genuine emotion! The angle and perspectives of your image tell a story very well. The face of the outside cat and the body of the jumping one are a bit soft. I especially like the facial expresssion of the outside cat. It's a fun shot!   Posted: 10/22/2025 04:09:00

Joan, a fun shot of your cat and kitten. I agree with Andres and Ruth's comments. I've had mixed results with camera raw's reflection removal tool; however when it works it is amazing.   Posted: 10/22/2025 16:11:58
