Nice shot Robert. The detail on the feathers and talons are so clear. Your cropping is also good as it eliminated unnecessary items. Only small suggestion would be to try and use the Lens Blur module in Lightroom Classic to blur the background a bit more.   Posted: 10/11/2025 15:14:21
Thank you for your suggestions. I had used this photo for a 4th of July meme composited with a picture of a flag. I'll post it in reply to Joan.   Posted: 10/22/2025 15:59:27
Ji, I love the attitude of you eagle. So brave, typical of being our national bird. The cage in the background could be removed two ways. One would be to fill it all in with black. T he other would be to darken it a lot using the burn tool or even just a black brush. You could choose the opacity. Since this is pictorial, we can do anything we want to make the image better, so I would get rid of the caged effect. The bird itself is beautiful and nice and sharp.   Posted: 10/14/2025 17:43:17
Robert, I appreciate the details of the eagle's feathers and the sharpness of his eye. His pose allows me to see his body well, including his feet. Your cropping works well too. As Andres and Joan mentioned, blurring the netting in the background would keep it from being distracting. Including his full tail feathers would be helpful if that was possible from your viewpoint.   Posted: 10/16/2025 02:40:53
Thank you I agree with your suggestions about bringing down the background. I posted a 4th of July composite of using a couple of my photos.   Posted: 10/22/2025 16:01:57
Hi Robert,
You have captured a sharp image of the eagle. Your post processing brought out more details of its feathers.
I agree with others' suggestions to blur the cage a bit more and to include the full tail of the eagle. Nice shot!   Posted: 10/17/2025 20:37:55

Robert, A wonderful image of the bald eagle. The eagle is very sharp and you captured the glint in the eye. I like the composition of your crop as well. I noticed you took down the highlights of the background and that helps immensely but if you blur or darken a bit more that would really remove any distraction. Nice image.   Posted: 10/19/2025 22:36:16
