It was taken in Rovaniemi, Finland in January 2019. I captured many great icy photos during my trip. It was a wonderful experience, and I hope to visit again.
Gear & Settings: Canon 5D Mark IV, Canon RF 16-28mm f/2.8 IS STML Lens, f/2.8, 1/15 sec, ISO 800, 16mm.

I agree about the wire. The steeple seems be burned out losing the detail. I do like the soft colors. Posted: 07/10/2026 12:33:40
What a scene. Yes, edit out the wire. And, maybe, reduce some of the highlights on the main building. The tones are great though. Posted: 07/10/2026 22:08:17
Good composition and lighting. I like your angle of approach with the street lights.
The camera must of exposed for the sky as It looks to be spot on. Then overexposing the building. Foreground ground looks great too.
I might of set my settings for the building and lights. Then open up the rest with editing. Dark, snow and lights are a tough combo composition. Posted: 07/15/2026 21:14:39

It's a bit more foreground than needed. The people give a good perspective to the snowman and the building. I agree about the wire. Posted: 07/17/2026 22:02:21
