This was taken in the area that I live, after a recent snowfall. It was taken with my Nikon D7500 camera, Nikon 18-300mm lens at 116mm, 1/500th second, f11 and ISO 1250. There was a breeze, so I had to use a faster shutter speed and f11 for depth of field. I cropped in, cleaned up the spots on the berries and used Topaz Sharpen AI. I added a green stroke around the image to make it stand out better from the website background.

Wow. What a nice picture. In addition to the technical mastery it is a beautiful image...perfect holiday photograph. I love the colors and I like how my eye is drawn to the partially covered berry in the upper right. The depth of field is extraordinary, everything important is sharp and the rest blurred. A very nice crisp and clean holiday image Tom. The red colored holly berries really stand out. There appears to some chromatic aberration affecting the center lower berry. Did you submit the intended original Tom? If so, you really did an excellent job of melting some snow. Posted: 01/11/2021 16:48:22
No, that is not the original. I do not know how it got there. This is the original that I had in the folder to use. I must have been viewing the other image and the computer picked it up by mistake. Posted: 01/12/2021 09:03:37

Beautiful winter holiday image. You can made a holiday card next year! You removed some brown sots on red berries, cropped out unused parts around frame, the while crystal snow and added a green stroke around the red berries, you made a great composition, the red berries are really stand out now. Nice photo. It is very centered. I like it that way. The snow is so pristine and the berries so bright red. It could also be cropped to a horizontal making the berries that much more prominent. I really like the topaz sharpener. I just bought it too. Posted: 01/23/2021 22:05:57
